If you are
looking for contemporary
3-D (three-dimensional) art, then look no further then Frey Services. The Freys produce the most unique, hand-made,
one-of-a-kind art using the mediums of glass, clay and paper. Raku, Stoneware, Quilling and Glass blown art
are their specialties. In addition to the free form art, the Freys
create keepsakes such as baby
announcements, bookmarks, bridal shower gifts, and
wedding invitations and gifts. In
addition, you will find the ever
popular flower quilling. You can also order your own personal note
cards or greeting cards. Clay
sculpture, glass sculpture and great
paper quilling are our forte. Japanese art
and oriental themes are prevelant in many of these pieces. Be sure to
check out our catalog shopping online. If you cannot find something, we
are happy
to accept your custom made order. Just
ask. In addition to the above, we also
offer art classes. (Note:
Glass blowing is taught by a local glass artist. He will
teach students how to make a glass vase and paper weight.) The next
time you are visiting the site, make sure you see Mary's prize-winning,
famous sculpture of a glass-blown fish named "Remembering
Princess."
Pottery
Our fine art,
raku art, consists of
everything from jewelry to raku pottery and even raku wall art. Some of our best pieces are Oriental in design. Other pieces include Indian and southwestern
inspiration. All of this can be found in
our pottery division: Native American pottery, Indian pottery, and
other Indian art and Native American art. In
this age of digital art, we can all use creatively inspired
(wo)man-made art, for a change of pace. So
please remember to support The Arts.
Besides raku,
we make wheel thrown,
clay sculpture, and hand-built ceramics. Two
of the more popular styles, Mexican pottery, along with general
southwestern pottery, are very popular these days.
Horse art and fish art and tropical art are closest to our
hearts along with just about any type of wildlife art.
Our tastes lend towards contemporary sculpture, although a
ceramic mug, ceramic pot, or ceramic vase is not out of the question.

Paper Arts
Our other paper
art is pinata
making or paper mache. Its not just for
kids any more! People use the same method you use to make pinatas, to
make table centerpieces. Cornucopias,
cartoon heads, turkeys, santa heads all make gorgeous centerpieces,
that you yourself have hand-made. Make la pinatas for their intended
use as well. All you need is pinata filler
and your pinata and voila! You have a pinata party!!
We have made the following using simple to find household

pinata, horse pinata, holiday centerpiece, wedding centerpiece, wedding
table centerpiece, reception centerpiece, fall centerpiece, balloon
centerpiece, thanksgiving centerpiece, cornucopia,

Our design
quilling classes include
the rich history of quilling while offering our students paper pattern
quilling for a first project quilling. This
free pattern quilling will be offered at a classroom near you. If you
do not have a local place where instruction quilling will be
taught, let me know and we will make arrangements to accommodate your
group. Students are thrilled when they find out
they get to quill with an actual feather quill, much as they quilled
all those years ago. The origins
of this religious art, go all the way
back to bible-binding nuns. Just take a look at all you could make at
our quilling gallery. We also offer some paper quilling supplies such
as quilling fringers, quilling kits, quilling patterns, quilling
samples, quilling for scrapbooks, quilling tools, and other quillworks.
Winter classes
offer the student the chance to make snowflakes,
snowflake ornaments, and snowflake decorations. They
are taught how to make a snowflake design, with a snowflake pattern or
using a snowflake picture. Summer classes focus on flowers and
miniatures as well as wedding gifts. Another
good place for experienced quillers to get supplies is to search on
ebay quilling supplies. There you can find
inexpensive supplies; however, if you are just starting out, you may
want to wait until you get more familiar with quilling.
