Mei-mei means little sister in Chinese. We have begun the paperchase to bring home a little sister for Olivia. With the current wait time getting longer and longer, it will be well into 2009 until we travel to China again. In the meantime, more funds to raise! So I have created some new dresses and outfits. You can read all about Olivia and our trip to China in April 2006 at:

In the fall of 2004, we had the sudden realization that our family was too small. Our two children were teens, taller than their parents. Empty-nest days were close upon us...and they looked BORING! We wanted children in the house! (The cat was lousy company.) We were led to pursue adopting a baby/toddler girl from China, through Bethany Christian Services. Our paperchase began in December 2004. Now anyone who knows me (Jen) knows that there are a couple of things I said I would never do: homeschool, and have any more kids topped the list. Well, never say never! April 18, 2005, the completed dossier including our life stories, home study, birth certificates, photos of our family (without the cat) was sent to China. Exactly one year later, in Nanchang, our daughter was placed in our arms. We can't imagine our family without her!
