I started with Tamiya remote controlled tanks several years ago when I purchased the 1/16 Pershing tank. After building it and seeing it run it wasn't long before I accumulated several more tanks.
Welcome to rctankhobby.com.
Update: March 2011.
I hope to have a battle circuit for the Forces of Valor series of RC tanks. These 1/24 scale tanks are great and it looks like Unimax will be expanding the line. There's even a halftrack scheduled for release this year. So softskins and tanks!
The two latest releases, Pershing & Pz IV are an improvement over the first releases. The main point is the gun elevation will now change directions when the button is depressed so you don't have to go through the full up/down cycle.
I also have a filter that can be inserted inbetween the battle circuit and the detector assembly so it will only respond to the Tamiya infrared signal. I don't have it on the site yet but will soon. This way the battle circuit will only respond to infrared shots from a Tamiya battle system. Now all I need to do is make more battle circuits!
