Crosley 51 Receiver

This is an interesting little BC rcvr. that covers up to the 160 meter band. Regeneration is controlled by moving the two coils away from each other by pulling the knob on the front panel in and out. Tuning is accomplished by turning the large knob on the front.It turns the silver cam on the left side of the picture (Just below the wire to the clouded tube) The large black vertical plates are the tuning capacitor. They are hinged at one end and the other end is pushed together by the cam to increase the capacitance. Pretty cool,
