Tombstones
These two tombstones are located in the IOOF cemetery in Soquel. They are of Drucilla Shadden Hames, Martha Hames, and a little boy named Willy Hames.
As of this writing, I'm not sure who Willy was. One of the best guesses is that he was one of Drucilla Hames Shadden's children who died in childood. Some of the records show of a "Willy" who was buried on "Hames Hill", the hill behind Soquel high School, whose grave was washed away during one of those infamous El Nino rainstorms.

Dearest mother thou hast left us
Here thy loss we deeply feel
But 'tis God that hath bereft us
He can all our sorrows heal.
