Soquel Pioneer Picnic-July 26, 2004
I was invited to speak at the Soquel Pioneer Picnic in Pringle Grove, located on the outskirts of Soquel Village, in Soquel, California, concerning the founder of Soquel, John Hames. John Hames is my great, great, great grand uncle. I am apparently the only living relative in the area, and was interviewed by Ramona Turner of the Santa Cruz Sentinel a few days before the presentation.
