Crocker Family
Benjamin Crocker was the grandfather of Sarah Cummins. There is a relation between this Crocker and the Charles Crocker of banking fame and member of the "Big Four", but more research needs to be done. Verna McCubbin had done the research at one point, but apparently took the information with her when she died. She corresponded with the Crocker banking family in San Francisco and they did indeed acknowledge her as a cousin.
