I am mainly retired and live with my lovely wife, Shirley, in an "adult resort community", Sun City Vistoso, located in Oro Valley, Arizona, a suburb of Tucson.  We have lived here since 1995.  Before retirement we lived in Sudbury, Massachusetts.  We still have the travel bug and do several extended trips each year. 

Among my personal activities within Sun City Vistoso, I am president of the Vistoso Computer Society.  Within the Computer Society, I also teach courses, mainly on website creation and publishing.  Like several other members, I do troubleshooting by helping club members with their computer problems. 

Also among my personal activities in Sun City, I have held offices in the Sun City Astronomy Club and the Sun City Havurah; for these two clubs, I am the webmaster. In addition, I have served on community committees and I am a volunteer in the Posse, which patrols our community streets at night for safety and security.

As far as service in the greater community is concerned, I have been a judge at the Southern Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair (SARSEF) since 1996.  Shirley and I had very rewarding experiences as volunteer counselors at Camp Sunshine in Maine.  In conjunction with Camp Sunshine, we held a very successful local pilot program, Camp Sunshine Arizona.  Another community service I'm involved with is tutoring math at our local public schools to help students improve their grades and prepare for state tests.
