I've been playing role-playing games since 1982 when I was 9
or 10 and my dad picked up TSR's
Dungeons & Dragons game, co-created by E. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, with many early suppliments put out by Judges Guild. While recently I've
been playing more 7th Sea, I still
play AD&D (although I had been on hiatus from about 1994-1998),
since it's the system into which I've invested the most time and money.
I've put together a large amount of notes on The World of
Greyhawk from Gary Gygax's Gord the Rogue novels.
These are notes from my 1997-2001 campaign: Mordred

Speaking of which, there is a Boston SF con run every January,
called Arisia. They have had excellent
links to all sorts of SF stuff, but fewer now than in days gone by in
the mid-ninties.
Another older Boston area SF con run in February is Boskone
Gaming has been male dominated, but it doesn't need to be. Women in
Gaming is an advocacy group with e-mail lists and articles discussing
gender issues in gaming.
