December to December
The end of the year brought the end of major
construction. Now it is mostly interior painting, (and
repainting as we find we are not quite happy with the
original ceiling color we picked). We are loving all the
colors in our new house, it is such a nice change from
all the white primer! We see a round of snow again, and
as spring comes around we finally have the storage
containers that held all the construction tools and
materials as well as our own storage taken away. A mini
deck gets built off the back door and we begin a season
of hosting parties. From my mom's 80th birthday, to
Thanksgiving again and Christmas, lots of family gathers
have been held here. We have also hosted several other
functions with friends and work groups, what a joy it is
to have so much room to entertain others in! All in all,
we LOVE our new house!
