Our Remodel Story

They tore off our old porch and rebuilt it with new stairs. We painted the bedroom apricot (despite what the paint can says, to us it looks very much like a creamsicle treat!) and moved into our new bedroom. That lets us finally start gutting the living room, now that we are out of the old part of the house and living in the new. We are relocating the stairs to the basement from the living room to the new back hallway. That will give us extra room in the living room plus a closet to hang coats on the living room side and a linen closet in the hallway side
