Season 1
Episode 1- Gunfight at the So-So Corral
The Case
Farley Wyre hires Blue Moon to find his long lost son Michael. He's sick and wants to see his son before he dies. Maddie and Dave find out that Michael Wyre is involved in a "nefarious" business, namely that he is a contract killer. Michael Wyre pays Maddie and Dave a visit and they find out that Farley Wyre is not who he says he is, that he is in fact Franklin Tate "The Dean" of the contract killing business. The 2 killers meet for a shoot out.
What's Really Going on Chris?
Maddie arrives at Blue Moon for her first day of work only to find there is no work to do! David admits that there are no clients and never have been "at this particular location." When Maddie starts to regret her decision to keep the agency open, David lies and says a client is coming in 20 minutes. He runs across the street and steals a client from a rival agency. While investigating the Wyre case, they go to a 'dive' where nefarious type hang out. Maddie convinces David that if they're going to be partners that he has to let her do it too. This leads to a Henry Higgins type of makeover by David to give Maddie the right "attitude" for the dive. Later, David waits in the car for Maddie while she has dinner with Mr Wyre. He is (correcly) afraid that she won't tell Mr Wyre that his son is contract killer and thet they are off the case. They argue. Maddie claims they have a moral obligation to find Michael Wyre. David says no because he has a moral obligation to stay alive. It doesn't matter- Michael Wrye finds them!
