They deliver the ransom and find out Clark faked the kidnapping to get money to pay off his gambling debts. Dave and Maddie tell Mrs Graydon that they "rescued" Clark. This way they get a $50,000 bonus, she pays only half what she expected and Clark gets some sympathy. Everyone is happy until Clark is kidnapped again. This time Dave and Maddie are unable to save him. It appears that he is blown up in a van. Later, Dave realizes there were no "bits-o-guy" flying through the air and that Clark duped them again. They go to tell Mrs Graydon the good news and get a surprise.
What's Really Going on Chris?

Maddie (thinking he's talking about sex) tells him to "dream on Addison." David says no, no, no, he wants her dignity. She's got to limbo in front of the employees if she loses. She agrees, but tells David if he loses he's got to lay off all unnecessary employees. He agrees. David acts mature until the get the $50,000 bonus. He relapses. He says she can have the 'old' David back for $3,000 and a limbo. She gets mad. He loses the bet anyway when he sings in celebration when they think they solved the case. The next day Maddie let's him off the hook and the employees keep their jobs. David admits he would've made her limbo.
