this year so we will combine this event with the Centennial for CHS. It
is exciting to anticipate seeing alumni from other classes. Thanks for

| I have had a great 45 years of being out of High
School and now you want me to come back. I almost did not get out!!
Sounds like a great event. Hope I will be able to see many of my old
(and I do mean OLD) classmates from the Class of 1961 and of course
others as well. Maybe a couple of sisters Phylis('56) and Gloria ('57)
along with my Mother ( Mary Helen (Burdine) Sultan class of '36 will

| I'll never forget transferring as a Sophmore in 1955
to CHS from Indiana and listening to a rousing round of "We're gonna
hang all the Yankees from a Southern Apple Tree" during "Chapel". Yikes!
The next year I was leading the chorus. Even married one of them CHS'ers.
48 years later a day doesn't pass that a CHS memory doesn't flash
through my mind. |
