Printing Information
We are happy to be able to offer some new ways to print your
portraits. Ordering print plans through the studio during your
session or a private consultation is available, just as always.
However, we are now also offering prints over the internet for
convenient credit card ordering. These prints are ordered through
an outside vendor with pricing that is similar, but not exactly
the same as our traditional ordering process. So, we offer this
information section to help answer any questions you may have.

Some of our all time favorites and portfolio/gallery portraits
will be offered here (at Fotki) as frameable art prints or posters.
Other prints are available in our other shops that can be accessed
by clicking that link in the navigation bar to the left. You may
also make special requests for different sizes or larger format
prints of existing portraits as well. See the sections about reprints,

Proof Prints
Proofs are offered here for your use in making selections for
fully imaged portraits. You can order proof prints from Fotki
and still make arrangements with us for your fully imaged portraits
that can be ordered through the studio directly or placed on the
internet for convenient credit card ordering. Once minimum imaging
levels have been met, selected proof images here can be made available
as larger high-resolution prints as well as ordering with watermarking
removed. Gift items can be custom ordered at any time through
any of our gift shops. Check them out for a wide variety of items
that can be customized using images found here. Then just click
on the e-mail link, under the logo in the upper left corner of
this page, to make your request.

Spec Prints & Customizing Print Orders
Occasionally, portraits will be offered here when imaging has
not been custom ordered. Once a spec print order has been delivered
that meets your satisfaction and minimum imaging levels, reprints
can also be made available at the lower reprint prices.
If you see something available on spec that does not exactly
meet your needs, please contact us to inquire about converting
it into a custom order. You will find that custom ordered prints
can often be much more cost effective than spec prints ordered
from the internet. We have a great deal of flexibility for customizing
orders that will save a lot using volume discounts that we simply
cannot offer with internet sales.

Reprints & Additional Prints
Reprints on portraits originally ordered directly from the studio
are best re-ordered directly through the studio. However, internet
reprints for original studio portraits are a possibility that
you need only request.

Special Requests
Our portraits are and always have been completely customized
to meet your needs. This has never been a shoot and print studio,
so we are already set-up to make every portrait a custom portrait.
Making portraits available by special request is something we
are happy to do. Whether you are interested in studio prints or
internet prints we want to make sure you get just what you need.

Quality Assurance
Since internet prints are ordered directly from an outside source,
we are unable to be a part of the quality control process. We
make every attempt to provide top quality image files that are
color corrected, and ready for making high quality prints. However,
we are not involved in any part of the actual printing process,
so we cannot apply our own quality control standards.

When prints are ordered directly from the studio, portrait images
are extensively color tested and profiled for the local printer
we use. So we are able to guarantee with our own eyes that every
print meets our standards before it is delivered to you.
We suggest that you become familiar with Fotki customer service
policies before placing any order in the event that prints do
not meet your expectations. However, we do want you to be perfectly
happy with your prints so we will backup Fotki customer service
with our own quality assurance policy as follows:
Any original prints ordered from Fotki that do not meet expectations
will be replaced by the studio with these stipulations. The customer
must bring the print and the original Fotki invoice to the studio.
We will go back to the source image, make any corrections that
are needed, based on the Fotki print, color test, profile and
print the image using our own local printer. We will also resubmit
a corrected image to Fotki for additional ordering at reprint
prices. We will hold the final prints in the studio for your final
approval.
This offer does not apply to prints offered as session proofs,
at reprint prices or anything that is custom cropped on-line.
It cannot be offered on prints 16x20 or larger.
Additional prints ordered from Fotki, when initial prints were
ordered directly from the studio, are not guaranteed to be exactly
the same as studio prints. Reprints will be made from images submitted
to Fotki with all the corrections used for studio prints. They
will be the same high resolution images used for studio prints,
but they will not be color profiled, as profiles must be done
for each individual printer.
Fotki is a resource made available for the convenience of internet
and/or credit card ordering. Studio Prints are made locally. We
hope you are pleased with this new service.

Browser Issues
In testing, we have had trouble with ordering prints using Firefox.
Our suggestion is switching to Internet Explorer or Netscape for
placing orders. This seems to be a problem with the Fotki ordering
system, so a call to their customer service listed
above might be in order if you are unable to use an
alternate browser for ordering and they have not yet addressed
this issue.
