Hello,
Here's my "about me" page. I just updated it again.
I enjoy golf and pool. I also have a few hobbies listed below. Some are new, some old.
- Hypnosis - It has grown from a hobby to an avocation. Look at my web site right now: HypnoticWords
- Needlework (which includes cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and quilt-making).
- Pottery - (you know, take the class, make a teapot that looks like something from a Van Gogh painting and show it off).
- Flower Arranging. Now I really enjoyed this one. I loved arranging silk flowers in baskets, vases, planters even picture frames. I did sell some of my arrangements, but for the most part I found that the creativity involved was what I was after.
- Garage Sales. Not much creativity here, but it's very fun.
- Baking. Simple things like warm chocolate chip cookies or fresh homemade bread. THAT's baking. I like to get my hands into a pile of dough for bread. The kneading process can be very stress relieving.
- Drawing. When the mood strikes I like to draw . I have added a page with some of my work on it, but for the most part, people that look at my sketches can only come up with phrases like "Ohhhh...interesting!" If you would like to see some of my work, click here

- Writing . I have written a couple of poems and was published in a small Mother's Magazine once.
- One of my favorite weird things is Jabberwocky. If you don't know about Alice In Wonderland, then you won't know wht I am talking about. See what it is. I can wait till you get back. :-)
- Music . Ahhhh music. I love to listen. I have tried to play a couple of instruments in my life. My father was a violin maker and of the four children he had, only one mastered the instrument. I was not one of them. I also tried the piano with a modicum of success. I am not the kind of person that can sit down and just play a tune on demand though. I need music in front of me at all times. I love the easy classics for this. Mozart is one of my favorite composers. I do like classic rock and some blues. Want to get acquainted with Enya? What a beautiful artist in so many ways.
- Graphics. I like to work in PSP7. I'm not great, but it's a wonderful creative outlet. I made the background that you see throughout the site for instance. Well, that does keep changing as my mood changes. That's what I mean by creative outlet I guess.
- Computers. I'm currently running a great Pentium 4 based system. A good friend of mine built it for me and I'm very very happy with it. I'm always looking to learn new things in programs and such so if you have inside info on interesting things, I like to chat on Yahoo. Look me up sometime.
