Karas Loft

Karas Loft has been one of the premier lofts in the Detroit area for a number of years. Our stock consists of the old Detroit Bekaerts as well as Verreke Janssens, and Rhode Island/Van Hees, originally bred by local great fanciers, Ted Dekeyser, Frank Querio, Gaston Vanfleteren, and Stubby Gentile.

Flying & Breeding Loft

These birds make up the foundation of our loft and are responsible for many 1st places 2nd place and other top positions, futurity and pool winners. Additional stock has been attained from other good local and out of town flyers, which has enhanced our bloodlines. These birds can excel from 100 to 500 miles. Many local and out of town fanciers have had great luck with our birds. Recently we have added Houben, VanLoons, DeKlak and Hekkenklaks bloodlines to our breeding team.
