Other Notes
  1.  Our classmate, Tim Gallagher, a mathematics teacher at McClatchy, led about twenty reunion participants on a tour of today’s McClatchy High School on Saturday morning.  The current Principal, Cynthia Clark, greeted the alumni entourage at the front of the school.
  2.  Also on Saturday, the Lions played their first football game ever at the school.  The team was victorious over Rosemont High by a score of 20-18.  The Lions raised their season record to 2 wins and 3 losses in a rebuilding year for the team
  3.  The CKM Class of 1957 held its reunion on the same weekend as ours.  It included a lunch BBQ at the school hosted by the Student Government.  Let’s work on our class fund!
Over 200 Class of 1967 graduates, spouses and guests reveled at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom at the class reunion on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Fueled by great hors d’oevres and sixties tunes, CKM grads mingled with old friends, swapped high school stories and updated each other on their current lives.
The Sacramento Grand Ballroom served as a terrific venue for the event. The high ceilings and the marble walls and accents of the former bank building provided a touch of elegance for the reunion party. Elegant food tables graced the center of the room and the former teller cages now serve libations, not transactions.
The guests kept on partying and many had to be encouraged to leave while the reunion committee and caterers cleaned up the venue. Overall, a very successful evening.
