The family name has been noted with several spellings including Lowen-Zeller, Lowen-Zollner, Liebenzoller, Levensaler to the present spelling. I am using the current spelling for continuity.

2. Pieter LEVANSELLER was born around 1705 in Bettendorf, Germany. He married the former Anna Appolonia BAUER, daughter of Johann Jacob BAUER, on 22 November 1729 in Altendiez, Hessen, Germany. The date and place of Anna's birth are currently unknown. Together they had at least six children. They left Amsterdam on the ship "Elizabeth" and arrived in Broad Bay, Maine in 1753. The death date for Anna is currently unknown, but she did pass away in Waldoboro, Maine. Pieter passed away after 1797 in Waldoboro, Maine.

10. John K. LEVANSELLER was born 21 May 1807 in Waldoboro, Maine. The name of his father and mother is currently unknown. John was married sometime between 1840 and 1849 to the former Sarah W. GAY, daughter of David and Rachel GAY. Sarah was born on 18 April 1824 in Union, Maine. There has been some confusion with the spelling of the last name, as several different spellings have been noted to include Levenseller, Lavenseller, Levansailor, etc. For the sake of continuity, the spelling of Levanseller is being used, since this spelling was used the most in documents and records found. Together they had three children. John passed away on 8 July 1868 in Waldo, Maine. Sarah passed away on 3 June 1909 in Waldo, Maine. Both are buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Swanville, Waldo County, Maine.

He married Sarah Ellen CHASE, daughter of Jeremiah CHASE and Mercy LITTLEFIELD of Swanville, Maine, on 1 May 1892. She was born 25 Mar 1853 in Swanville, Maine. Together they had two girls. According to the Daily Kennebec Journal Obituary, Gilbert passed away on 28 August 1918 at his home in Waldo. Sarah passed away on 11 September 1938 in Waldo, Maine. Both are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Swanville, Maine.

CILLEY, on 6 October 1915 in Waldo, Maine. Everard was born 21 April 1893 in Waldo, Maine. Together they had three children. According to U.S. Census records the couple moved to Lewiston, sometime before 1920, residing on Evans Street, Lewiston, Maine. Their last address noted was 43 Dennison Street in Auburn. Everard passed away on 30 January 1963 in Auburn, Maine. Jennie passed away, at the ripe old age of 100, on 3 August 1994 in the Marshwood Health Care Facility in Lewiston, Maine. Both are buried in the Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Auburn, Maine.
