To: All Crews Crew members are requested to report any maintenance issues that need attention by means of recording the issue in the appropriate area with as much detail as possible. In the event of items such as defective turnouts, electrical problems, etc., a 'hit list' is maintained on a clip board located underneath Easton. Please notate the problem, the location of the problem (being as specific as possible) and your name. In the event of equipment problems with locomotives and rolling stock, it is requested that crews utilize the use of the Bad Order cards located around the layout. Please fill one of these forms out, notating the equipment information, as well as the defect or problem with the equipment. Please leave this form, with the equipment, on the desk in the workshop area. JR |

To: All Crews Effective this date, Timetable #7.3 is in effect. Revised schedules have been posted at each operating position. Of significance is the addition of a new train, BABE-528/BEBA-529, a coal extra running between Bayview Yards and Bernice, with interchange service between Bernice and LVRR Sayre Yard. This train leaves Bayview with empty coal and runs the CL&W mainline, picking up empty hoppers at Karlsbad and Clairmont. The train works the mine complex at Bernice, exchanging empties for loads. This train shall also interchange any coal traffic at Sayre for empties for Bernice. The train shall then return with loads for Clairmont, Karlsbad and Bayview. The new schedule has been posted to this website on the 'Schedule' page. JR |

To: All Crews Effective with the next session, we will implement the use of 'Engine/Consist Cards'. These cards shall be used in conjunction with the Train Cards and Car Cards to define locomotive assignments for all trains. When a crew signs up for a train, as in the past, the crew shall obtain the 'time on' from the Dispatcher, pull the train header card and report to the train as designated on the Train Header Card. Upon arrival, an 'Engine/Consist Card' will be found in the box that contains the Car Cards for that train. The crew shall ensure that the locomotive(s) for that train match the locomotives indicated on the 'Engine/Consist Card'. Included in the information on the 'Engine/Consist Card' shall contain locomotive number, road name, locomotive type and DCC Address.
