The Occidental Cheer Squad is an all girl squad that ranges from 12-16 girls. In the past, the squad was very basic, but during the 2003 football season it underwent a drastic change, and it has continued to grow since. The squad now performs elite all-girl stunts such as Swedish Falls, Trophy and High Split Pyramids, as well as back tuck basket tosses.They also dance at half time of every home game, performing choreography by members of the team. The cheerleaders travel to all in-state away games, make posters for home games and cheer at homecoming events for alumni and parents.
The 2004-2005 squad is made up of an awesome mix of girls with a huge variety of past experience and skills.....
