Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a clay-like compound composed of tiny silver particles suspended in a mixture of organic binder and water. When fired in a kiln the binder and water burn away leaving pure silver. PMC allows an artist to manipulate silver with the hands and simple tools to create designs that are not possible using traditional metalsmithing practices. This simple to use media results in unique and unusual pure silver pieces. All of the fine silver objects on this website were made by hand and for the most part are one of a kind.
