Bucks County Dining Club 20th Anniversary Dinner

The Bucks County Dining Club has met one Sunday a month since April of 1990 with only four cancellations. We recently
had our 20th anniversary dinner (the 236th) at Vecchia Osteria in Newtown. Only four people on the mailing list couldn't
make it, but there were also 7 guests making a total of 46 diners.

When We Arrived -- A Beautiful Setting, But For Only 40 Guests!
The Hard Working Staff Tried In Vain to Add Enough

The restaurant did not provide sufficient seating as the owner didn't pay attention to the final count and had the
restaurant ready for the initial estimate of "about 40". The staff did everything they could to add more
places, but just could not squeeze enough in, and it was still tight for the 46 that remained, The rest of the
restaurant was full although that was never suggested as an option. Two people seeing the problem, left and that
was a major disappointment. The food, service, and ambiance for the rest were wonderful.
