The Issues

Clarence takes very seriously the job of governing the country of Catmerica.  He has appointed a large number of cats to help him in this very important job.  Since winning the last election, the country of Catmerica has become a better place to live.  But there are still some very important issues that need to be addressed in the next four years.  They are:

Homelessness - there are gazillions of cats in this country who don't have onetruehomes.  There are also huge numbers of other animals and of humans who need homes.  Clarence wants to find homes for all of them.

Abuse - some humans are abusing cats, other animals and other humans.  Clarence wants this abuse to stop and he wants to make sure that every human learns the consequences of abuse.

Cats and the human family - a lot of cats who are living with humans aren't allowed to do whatever they want, to go wherever they want, to eat whatever and whenever they want and to live the kind of life that all cats are entitled to.  Clarence wants to start educational programs so that humans can learn what it means to live with a cat.

The World - The countries of the rest of the world do not yet have cats running them.  This is very important since cats do a better job of governing than humans.  Clarence wants to contact cats in all other countries and find cats who want to become purrsidents of their country.  When this happens, the cats will make the humans stop their wars.  They will make sure that all cats have onetruehome if they want them and that no cats are abused anymore.

World Government - All of the countries of the world are split into multiple governments with humans running them.  After the cats have been elected to purrsident and have appointed cats to take over all important government positions, Clarence wants to have a meeting with all the purrsidents and start a world government.  He wants to elect a chief purrsident of that world government and to have all the cats agree on what's best for the world.
