Welcome to my page. This is where you can get some

background info about me

before you visit my virtual galleries (linked below).

I live with my husband and children in an old farmhouse

in the Delaware countryside.  It's a beautiful area, quiet,

I was born in New Hampshire and raised in the Boston

area and Long Island's north shore  (with a brief

diversion to North Carolina) My five  brothers and

sisters and I grew up in a child's paradise.

My fine arts training started in early childhood,

trips to the art museum, drawing sessions with

my grandfather. My formal training is limited to

a few art classes at Washington College

in Maryland and SUNY StonyBrook, NY.

I majored and received my degree in

Sociology and took a 10 year detour into the world

of counseling in the areas of substance abuse and adult

corrections although I always painted on the side.

I work in many different mediums, mainly oils, pastels and

water colors. My style is somewhat representational, realistic.

I love intense color so at times I like to bump up the contrast and

saturate my paintings in bright colors,

making the subject slightly more abstract.

My work hangs in private homes, corporate offices, community

buildings and even the local hospital.  My work can be viewed at

Angelucci Fine Wood Working & Stained Glass Studio, along the

riverwalk in downtown Milford, DE. I am a member of the

Mispillion Art League of Greater Milford and have entered pieces

in the Tyringham Art Show in the Bershire mountain area of

Massachusetts.  I have exhibited at the Biggs Museum of American

Art in Dover, DE.

At times I even paint for pleasure...a selfish pursuit

but I have learned to live with the guilt.

There are several new pieces hung in the Alison Wing of the gallery.

Most of the paintings you'll find there are for sale.

The Stephanie wing is more of a retrospective of my work,

pieces that are no longer for sale.

Thank you for visiting my gallery, enjoy!
If you're using a "dial-up" connection, the pictures load a bit slowly
but you
might find it's worth the wait!
