Miss Universe 2007: Riyo Mori
Well, the Miss Universe pageant officially ended about an hour ago and I'm still here scratching my head. The judges were all over the place this year, which was a good thing, really. It kept everyone one their toes.
Although I had issues with Riyo Mori, Miss Japan 2007, she made it to the top 5 and impressed the judges (and me, too) enough to win the crown. So, congratulations Riyo. Also, I'll post a recap of the final some time within the next few days.

She was one of my faves a couple of columns down! I'm very happy for her. She is lovely.
I felt so bad for Miss USA, falling down. That's one of my biggest fears - falling. Poor girl! Miss Japan is lovely.
The runner up looks so angry! I guess I would be too. Maybe if she was a little better at hiding those emotions she would have won...Miss Japan was quite beautiful though.
