Chris
Morda has played guitar for 19 years. After a year of lessons
as a fourteen year old, he studied in his early twenties in Detroit
privately with Robert Noll,
former sideman in Albert Collins Icebreakers, for three years.

Chris
furthered his studies in Seattle at the University of Washington's
Ethnomusicology
Program (B.A. 1998). Chris began as a teacher's assistant
for a music theory class at the UW and then taught at Youth
Advancement through Music and Art leading a blues ensemble
and teaching private students in Freemont. Chris is currently
teaching private students and will be teaching a class on Blues
History at the Experimental
College at the University of Washington in January of 2003.
Chris performs regularly in Seattle based blues band, "The
Glacier Blues Band".
