Archive of World Music, Harvard Universtity-This site has collections on the musics of Asia and the Middle East.  It also has substantial holdings of Anglo-American ballads and songs.

The Center for Music of the Americas-Established in 1985 to creat and enhance understanding  among the peoples of North, South, and Central America, and the Carribean through music (in the broadest sense of the world) and its related arts and folkways.  Located at the Florida State University.
