Rockhall.com- Home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, site includes articles on future features of the museum, descriptions and pictures of exhibits including a lesson plan with grade levels, text, and printable versions of the plan for use in the classroom, nice site

Experience Music Project-Paul Allen's latest venture, a music museum inspired by Jimi Hendrix, due to open in Seattle in June of 2000, the site contains information on exhibits that will be featured at the museum, also link page, various essays on different artists, online guitar lessons, etc

The Delta Blues Museum-The web site for the delta blues foundations museum located in Clarksdale, Mississippi, for those with access to a broadband internet connection there's a great Buddy Guy concert at this site

Musical Heritage Network-Instrument Encyclopdia, this museum is located at the University of Michigan , the site features the histories and pictures of various musical instruments from around the world featured at the museum, also links to a few other sites and books to read for information on musical instruments histories

Alabama Music Hall of Fame-This museum is the pride of the Muscle Shoals Music Association and others in achiving their dream of a hall of fame and museum to honor Alabama's contributions to music, site incluedes pictures taken inside the museum, some short biographies, and an online store featuring a few rare cd's

The American Classical Music Hall of Fame and Museum-Dedicated to honoring and celebrating the many facets of Classical Music in the United States, when I went to review this site there was nothing more than information on the museum, no online exhibits or anything cool like that, worth a check for updates

Irish Music Hall of Fame-This sites physical location is in Dublin and the presenters of the web site take obvious pride in their musicians, the intereactive tour takes you briefly through the exhibits and talks about some greats of Irish music, my favorite, Rory Gallagher gets a fair amount of coverage which was nice to see

America's Shrine to Music Museum-From  the campus of the University of South Dakota comes this web site, the virtual inludes many instruments and is a great way to spend some time, their is also an extensive links page with links to many other various museums and music related things

Whittaker's Music Experience-The physical location of this museum is in Oneroa, Waiheke Island, near Iceland, fortunatly they have a nice online interactive museum that can be reached by computer and modem, features a small but nice variety of cool instruments

The Archive of Contemporary Music-A not-for-profit archive, music library and research center located in New York City, the ARChive collects, preserves and provides information on the popular music of all cultures and races throughout the world from 1950 to the present
