Basic Slide Licks-Lesson 1

     This section looks at a few very basic slide licks that will be the beginnings of understanding lead slide guitar. The first lick is based around the G chord on the 12th fret over the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings.

     It is one of the most basic lead tricks of sliding from two frets below the note and landing on the note with a little vibrato.
