Pecan Pie Family Recipe

Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark Karo corn syrup
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

Preparation:
Beat eggs and sugar together until thick. Add Karo, pecans, and vanilla and pour into crust. Bake in a slow oven at 300° F for 1 hour.

(This is the recipe I grew up eating, and my Mother says it's my aunt's recipe.)
