Fudgy Pecan PieIngredients:4 ounces sweet cooking chocolate 1/4 cup butter 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup hot water 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cup pecan halves 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
Preparation: In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with butter. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, hot water and eggs, and mix well. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, salt, and pecans. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the mixture is firm in the center. Cool before serving. |
