Southern Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
4 eggs, beaten lightly
1 1/4 cups southern cane syrup
1 1/2 cups pecan, coarsely broken
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil sugar and syrup together 2-3 minutes. Add butter, vanilla, and pecans and pour eggs slowly into the hot mixture and mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake for about 45 minutes or until set.
