Preparation: Grease jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch). Beat flour, sugar, butter, and salt in mixing bowl until crumbly. Press mixture firmly into pan and bake 20 minutes or until light golden brown. For the filling, mix eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla; stir until mixed well and add pecans. Pour evenly over baked layer and bake 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool before cutting into 1/2 inch squares. |
