George Carden, CNR President andchief reporter, defines himself as a "media-holic."Since breaking into radio at the age of 13 in his hometown station inHartselle,Alabama, George has devoted his entire career to media: from radioannouncerand DJ in the 1970s and 80s, to news anchor, when he began working withthe CBN Radio Network (now part of Salem Radio Network) in 1988. Afterthree years in radio news, and four years as an on-air news reporterforCBN's "The 700 Club" television program, George became the chartmanagerfor CCM Communications in Nashville. He also worked as aweekend/fill-inannouncer for Morningstar Radio Networks and at WAY-FM radio station&network in Nashville. In 1999, he was named Associate Producer for"Decision Today," the daily radio program of the Billy GrahamEvangelistic Association. Now, utilizing his abilities and contactswithin media, George contributes regularly to quality news service for United News &Information (UNI News), and he is available to contribute to YOURmedia service as well.
