Intermediate/Advanced Level Camp
Session III: July 13 - 17, 2009 $235.00 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
This session is for girls ages 13 and through incoming seniors. To register for this camp a player must have past playing experience on a varsity, junior varsity or club volleyball team. This camp will focus on specific techniques related to individual positions, offensive and defensive formations, game strategies and will provide athletes will multiple competitive opportunities to play. A great camp for all levels of play.
Showcase Camp (Advanced/Elite Camp)
Session IV: July 20-23, 2009 $200.00 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
The Camp is an established well-known instructional environment that offers a tremendous opportunity for the student athlete who is interested in pursuing college to Showcase themselves in front of numerous college coachesThis camp is designed for experienced volleyball players entering their junior or senior seasons. Campers entering their sophomore season may apply to Coach Zanni/Gilchrist to register for this camp. To register for this camp a player must have two years of varsity and/or club volleyball experience. This camp will focus on specific advanced techniques related to individual positions, offensive and defensive formations, game strategies and will provide athletes will multiple competitive opportunities to play. On the final day of camp (July 23rd) college coaches will be attending to watch campers engage drills and play in a tournament format.
Additionally, this camp offers classroom training on NCAA Clearinghouse Procedures, SAT/ACT, and GPA for the college bound athlete. This class is available to parents and campers as part of the registration fee. The partnership with the college coaches is a valuable tool in helping place athletes at the university or college of their choice.
Registrants for this camp may also be asked to submit a letter of recommendation from a coach to complete their registration. The letter may be emailed to Scott Zanni or Bonnie Gilchrist.
