Gilchrist/Zanni Camp Philosophy
The Gilchrist/Zanni Volleyball Camps are for girls ages 11 - incoming high school seniors (for the 2011-12 school year). The camps are run by Scott Zanni and Bonnie Gilchrist. Both are accomplished high school varsity volleyball coaches, played collegiate volleyball and have years of experience teaching volleyball. They are committed to delivering high quality instruction in the game of volleyball at a low cost, fun and enjoyable atmosphere. This is our fifth year in a row with no cost increases.
We have committed to :
- employ only experienced counselors who have played in college, coached high school/club volleyball or both
- feature a low camper/counselor ratio (past camps have maintained a 7/1 ratio)
- offer reasonable camp rates when compared to other locally run volleyball camps (we encourage you to compare our cost/hour to other camps)

Beginner Camp June 25-28th at Sherwood High School (6-9pm) Cost: $120 |
This camp is for girls’ ages 10 through incoming high school sophomores who are either new to organized volleyball and have only middle/high PE volleyball experience or limited team play experience. The camp focuses on the basics of volleyball including the rules, positions, basic skills and offensive and defensive systems. Intermediate/Advanced Camp July 16-20 at Champions Field House (Rockville) 9-3 each day Cost: $235 |
This session is for girls ages 13 and through incoming seniors. To register for this camp a player must have past playing experience on a varsity, junior varsity or club volleyball team. This camp will focus on specific techniques related to individual positions, offensive and defensive formations, game strategies and will provide athletes will multiple competitive opportunities to play. High School Prep Camp August 6-8, 2012 at Sherwood High School 4PM-9PM each day. Cost $150

This is the newest Gilchrist-Zanni Volleyball Camp offering. This camp is designed for players of all levels who wish to get ready for the upcoming 2012 high school season. The camp is held the week before high school tryouts begin (August 11th) and is designed to physically and mentally prepare students for the rigors of tryouts. There will be an emphasis on individual technical skills and overall team strategies. Players of all level are welcome and will be grouped by ability levels. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN.
