TRANSPORTATION
The Council on Aging is very proud of its (Nov. 2001) passenger van and its "Betsy" minivan. Any Wrentham
senior or disabled resident is eligible to ride the vans.
Reservations should be made in advance by calling the Senior Center
(508)384-5425.Transportation is available for a wide variety of purposes,
including medical appointments, weekly grocery shopping or rides to the Senior Center.
The vans are used to bring
elders to the Senior Center for lunch, Doctor's appointments, Mystery
Trips and various other special activities.
Reservations for transportation may be made by calling the
Senior Center at least 24 hours in advance, although last minute
appointments are handled on the same day when possible. Accommodations
are subject to availability of the daily transportation schedule.
For Doctor's appointments, which depend upon
Volunteers, please call us at least three days in advance.
