VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
With a small, full-time staff and an elderly population of over 1200,the Wrentham Council on Aging has to rely heavily on the services of volunteers.
Over the course of a year volunteers assist with a variety of services including telephone work, outreach services, driving elders to medical appointments, kitchen help, clerical work and telephone reassurance.
On 21 May, 2002 a volunteer recognition event was held at the Senior Center. Members of the Council on Aging honored the volunteers and served them ice cream sundaes.

The COA continues to encourage interested persons to volunteer their services to assist with programs for elders. If you have some free time on your hands, please call the Senior Center at 384-5425 and speak to Anna DesChamps the Volunteer Coordinator.
