Deaf Playwright

A professional actor, director, playwright and photographer, Willy Conley received a Pew/TCG Nat’l Theatre Artist Residency grant, and awards from Sam Edwards Deaf Playwrights Competition, American Deaf Drama Festival, Balto. Playwrights Festival, ‘97/‘99 NeWorks Festival, and Lamia Ink! Intn’l 1-Page-Play Fest. Ed. background: M.A. Playwriting - Boston University; M.F.A. Theatre - Towson University. Conley is currently a Professor and Chairperson of Theatre Arts at Gallaudet University in D.C.
