The first attempt to can soda
Definately one of the most desirable of all soda cans! It's very tough to find very clean! It originated from approximately 100,000 cases produced at the Millis, Ma. plant in 1938. Many of these never made it to the shelves as the citric acid wreaked havoc with the early metal can liner, causing the cans to; in some cases, expload! A very rare green version of this first cone exists and is thought to be a sample can given out at the factory. Clicquot Club produced several generations of cone top as well as flat top and pull top cans.
