Welcome to the web site of Colorado Chapter 1 of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Officers Motorcycle Club, Inc.  We are located in the Denver Metro area and are one of nine chapters in Colorado.  There are chapters located in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, La Junta, Four Corners, Grand Junction, and Craig Colorado.  The International Headquarters, originally organized in 1974, is located in Bangor Maine.  There are chapters located throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, France, and Germany with continuing growth throughout the world.

Colorado Chapter 1 was started in Denver in March 1986.  We presently have approximately 111 members and are still growing!  Membership is restricted to full, part-time, or retired law enforcement officers.  However, the By-Laws do allow for a certain percentage of Honorary Members who are not Law Enforcement Officers.  Our meetings, which last about an hour, alternate between the first Saturday or Sunday of the month concluding with a ride (weather permitting) even if it's only to a local restaurant.  After all, we live by our motto "Live to Ride, Ride to Eat."

Our main event every year is our "Top Gun" Motor Officer Skills Competition.  This has become a prestigious annual competition open to any Police Motor Officer which is held in the first week of June each year.  This year the competition drew Motor Officer competitors from all across Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Utah.

Thank you again for contacting our web site.  If I may assist you in any way, please contact me at any of the numbers on our home page.
