ECW - Original San Francisco Toymakers Is this the same company who made WCW figures for so many years? The very same, but you wouldn't know it by looking at these great lines. Toymakers apparentally cleaned up their act significantly. In fact, these figures are some of my very favorites. They did an excellent job of catching the looks and personalities of these guys. These figures were ahead of their time because many of the face molds look even better than the Real Scan technology Jakks now uses with their WWF figures. A perfect example is the Shane Douglas figure which is one of the best likenesses I've ever seen on any wrestling figure. Lance Storm is very good as well. They even got the body types right on these guys. The accessories are very cool too, consisting of guitars, snow shovels, and casts. I especially like the backing cards on the last line released - "Thrill Zone". Another great thing about Toymakers is that they made figures of much of ECW's roster. I'm glad they didn't fall into the same habit that Toybiz did, of making new figures of the same guys over and over again. Favorite figure: Shane Douglas
