Wrestling Figure Links

Hall of Fame

The Lucha Libre Action Figure Archive - This is not a merchandise site. In fact, it's more of a tribute site which actually helped inspire this very site. The owner is a mexican wrestling figure fanatic, and an all around good guy. He provides extensive information and a great selection of pictures, featuring many of the rare varieties of Lucha action figures. A must see site for wrestling figure fans.

WWF Figures - From my experiences, a top-notch run site. Prices are reasonable, and they offer a pretty decent selection of figures (mainly from the WWF, ECW, and New Japan). Have had only positive experiences with this site.

HighSpots - A great site for japanese and mexican wrestling merchandise, including figures. Solid site with super-fast order processing and delivery. You can purchase items from them using PayPal, which is nice for us buyers who already use a PayPal account for ebay. Reasonable prices too!

sportsjapan.com - A really nice merchandise site for the Japanese sports world. It features a japanese wrestling section which offers several wrestling figures, at a competitive prices. I've dealt with this site several times now and have been very impressed. The communication is good and the items arrive quickly. You may be able to find some of the japanese wrestling figures you've been looking for! A little tip: If you're thinking of ordering more than one figure from this site, make sure and order the ones you want TOGETHER. It will save you some money on shipping and handling!

takun-toys.com - A Japanese wrestling figure website I stumbled upon one day. Although I can read very little of it (because it is in Japanese), it appears to be someone's wrestling figure collection. The highlight of the site is the Japanese figure sections. I thought I had atleast seen pictures of most of the Japanese figures out there, but while going through this site, I realized I didn't previously have a clue. There's some GREAT stuff on this site, that made me realize there's still a lot of stuff out there that I want. Check it out!

stomwijf.com - Europe's #1 Wrestling Figure Website! The owner of this site and I have dealt numerous times over the past couple of years. He's a great guy and runs an awesome website which documents practically every wrestling toy line out there. He has a huge collection and is always building it. Lots of great info!

Gartwo's Wrestling Figures - A new and well-done site. I never covered many of the "bendy" and obsure wrestling figure lines on my site, but Gartwo had done an excellent job of docmenting bendies, erasers, thumb wrestlers and other wrestling figures from the past two decades. Worth a visit!

1wrestling.com Figure News - Columnist Brent Strassburg updates a wide fan base with recent figure news, and the scoops on other new wrestling merchandise. While your there, check out the rest of 1wrestling.com. It truly is the most reputable and respected wrestling news site. The owner, Bob Ryder, is a great guy. In my opinion he's the most trusted wrestling columnist on the web.

Big Reds - Big Reds has an extensive collection action figures (not just wrestling) from the past (probably one of the best on the web). The prices are a bit high, but aren't completely ridiculous. All of their figures come MOC in their original packages. I've only ordered once from this site, but the experience was positive. There were a few things I didn't like: The shipping and handling rates are a bit odd. They charge the rate based on the selling price of the item, rather than the size or weight. So, if you're ordering an expensive item, it may not be worth it, because a single figure may cost as much as $15 shipping and handling (when the actual cost to them would be less than $5). Their customer service isn't the best either. As hard to believe as it sounds, they don't have an email address listed anywhere on their site. Even when they send you confirmation of your order, they somehow set your own address as the sending address, so you are unable to reply. They do have a phone number you can call. I did end up calling them, because I slightly screwed up my address information. The guy I talked to was a bit hard to understand, but gave me the information I needed. They did send the items superfast, and ordering was pretty easy

TuCold Videos - Probably the best kept secret, for japanese wrestling figures, on the web. The guy who runs this site primarily sells wrestling video tapes, but also deals in other merchandise, including wrestling figures. He has picked up a lot of japanese merchandise on his trips overseas. His prices are fair (especially on shipping and handling). From my experiences, he is a bit slow on shipping out the items, but be patient - he is reliable.

AFACT - Action Figures and Collectible Toys - An action figure merchandise site. I've only dealt with this site once, but it was a good experience. Their prices are little high, but not that bad. A pretty decent selection, with some harder to find figures.

Hall of Shame

LuchaSwag - If you go to this site, and order anything, you're absolutely guaranteed NEVER to receive the item you ordered. Sure, the owner will keep in contact with you for the first month, assuring you that you'll receive your items, but in the end, you'll stop hearing from him completely. Luchaswag was once a reputable merchandise site. It recently fell under new management, though, and is now nothing more than a fraud scam. The current owner has completely ripped off me as well as many others, both through his site and ebay auctions. He's been reported by several people to government fraud protection, and has been banned from ebay. Yet, his sight is still out on the web and he probably continues to generate decent revenue, based on the reputation built by the previous owner. You've been warned! Update: Last time I checked, this site is no longer functioning. This is good news for everyone! I'll leave this link up though, incase the owner tries to start it back up.

Wrestling Superstore - I will give them this - they have a very good selection of wrestling figures - However, there's a number of things I don't like about this wrestling merchandise site. First of all, they're WAY over-priced (about double of most figure selling sites). Second, they totally rip you off on shipping and handling. I bought 3 ECW MOC figures from them. They charged me, I believe, around $15-$17 for total shipping and handling. I thought it was a bit high at the time, but I was anxious to get the figures. When I received the figures, I was shocked to see that they shoved all 3 into a Priority Mail box, which cost them about $5 total to send. They weren't able to fit all 3 into the box comfortably, so they purposely bent the card (a big bend) on one of them so it would fit. Needless to say, I won't be buying from them again.

Pro Wrestling Torch - Okay, this isn't a figure site at all, but since it's wrestling related, I decided to throw it in. While 1wrestling.com is the "CNN" of wrestling news, Pro Wrestling Torch is the "National Enquirer". For some reason, this site remains fairly popular. I think it owes its success to the same people who buy tabloids. The news is often inaccurate, and most of the columnists don't know a hammer-lock from a ham sandwitch. It is, however, good for a laugh from time to time. Just read Jason Powell's comments if you feel like shaking your head and rolling your eyes up in utter disbelief.
