WWF - LJN (1984-1989) This is one of my very favorite figure lines. These guys are very collectable, and deserve to be sought after the way they've been over the years. These guys actually LOOK LIKE the wrestlers. LJN did a great job of capturing everyone's individual ring personalities. The figures stand tall at around 8 inches, and are very durable. You can run them over with a car if you wanted to, although I wouldn't suggest it. There's no articulation, but because I'm a collector and not a player, I don't mind at all. LJN did a thorough job of making figures for most of the WWF roster which always helps to make a figure line successful. Favorite figure: Too hard to name just one. Some of my favorites include "Ravishing" Rick Rude, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, The British Bulldogs, and Bam Bam Bigelow. |

WWF - Hasbro (1990-1994) I absolutely hate these figures. They're way too cartoonish for my taste, and aren't very good likenesses. Most are around 4 1/2 inches tall, which I'm not very fond of either. Many of the figures were molded with their legs together and their upper bodies were unproportiantely large. I also didn't like the ridiculous gimicks and uninteresting storlyines that were going on in the WWF during this period, so that may contribute partially to my feelings toward these figures. I will compliment Hasbro on one thing though - they made a figure of just about everyone on the WWF's roster at the time. That type of diversity is what I would like to see more of from today's wrestling figures Favorite figure: I really don't like any of them, but if I had to pick, I'll go with Adam Bomb. |

WWF - Jakks (1996 - Present) Up until their latest Real Scan releases, I really didn't like any of the figures made by Jakks. For the most part, they looked very cheap. In fact, there were hardly any figures that actually looked like who they were supposed to. However, in utilizing Real Scan technology, Jakks has improved DRAMATICALLY. I still think they have some problems (some figures are still very unproportianate), but they're headed in the right direction. Some of the newer figures like Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero look great. Favorite figure: Chris Benoit |
