     ELECTIONS POSTPONED
Since there were not enough people present, elections have been postponed for a new board. If you are interested please contact Russell Weisfield. Additionally, since Jane Fancher will be running for City Council and the Sword Presidency could potentially be a conflict of interests, V.P. Russell Weisfield will now be acting as interim President until a new one is elected.

     ACT NOW!

A plan to have 6 Stoplights between 68th and 76th on Sheridan was initiated Without public input.

South Westmintser Organized for Responsible Development (SWORD) was originally formed in response to a Westminster city council plan to give $5,000,000 to Wal-Mart for the purpose of building a super store in a residential neighborhood.

Members of SWORD successfully petitioned a referendum onto the Westminster ballot - the first successful petition drive in decades. Although SWORD's efforts would ultimately be rebuked by voters by a narrow margin, the group continues to be an active citizens' group in the Westminster area.

SWORD has held RTD forums, candidate forums, and has been responsible for having Westminster council meetings podcasted.
