Description: When a user can't see the Flash content of www.comcast.net.

Symptoms: The Flash content of www.comcast.net is not displaying properly. Flash Player will need to be reinstalled. This also happens on the first run of the web browser on www.comcast.net.

Goal: Install Flash player to restore the content of www.comcast.net.

1. If the Flash Player is either not working correctly or not installed you will see this dialog box or wording similar to this at the top of the comcast.net page. Click the highlighted button to go to Macromedia's download page.



2. You'll be taken to the OS X Flash Player download center. Click the Download.hqx button to download the Flash Player.



3. Internet Explorer's Download Manager will open and the Flash Player installer will download. The default download location is the Desktop.



4. After the Flash Player installer has completed downloading you will see an icon on the Desktop called Install Flash Player 7 OSX. Double click on it to begin installing Flash Player.



5. Click Install button.



6. You will see a progress bar like this as the Flash Player installs on to the hard drive.



7. After the Flash Player has completed installation the default web browser will open and take you to a Macromedia page indicating the installation has completed.
