This page contains a walk through on how to bypass the MSN registration dailog boxes. This occurs after first launch of IE on new Win ME (and 98) installation.

1. The first time Internet Explorer is launched it will open the MSN Internet Access wizard. To get past the wizard click Next.



2. Do not make any changes to this dialog box. Click the Lan/Manual button to continue.



3. Select the radio button for Connect using my local area network (LAN).



4. Ensure that Automatic discovery of proxy server [recommended] is checked.
1. Click Next.



5. Place a check mark in No and click Next.



6. Click Finish.
