Arizona Photo Album day 2

Pleasantly cool weather at the start, but the minute the sun comes up the heat starts....sizzling sun in a blue sky.  I was very concerned about the Ahwatukee mountain area but thankfully I made it 'over' that before it got too hot.

And hot it got!  setting new records for daily high temps.  Thank goodness for the misting trucks.  NOTHING felt soooo good!  I'm so glad my Mom was able to be a part of everyday's route-dependable and dedicated supporter!  Thanks Ken for your support and coming out to cheer on Pam.

Another example of Arizona kidlet involvement in cheering walkers.  I totally loved her outfit-which really means I could so wear that!

Pam's friends are the creative types-I thought they did a great job coming up with decorations for the tents-our own little piece of heaven.
