Karen, YOU are amazing!!
Walkers lining up early.......

I TOTALLY love these boots! They may not be made for walking but I think they're made for me...I think I could pull it off!
Papago botanical gardens-just outside the Phoenix Zoo. I don't know why the designer thought it'd be a good idea to put a black asphalt trail through the gardens...oh the heat!

I was almost mistaken for one of the dried-up, shriveled up tumbleweeds amongst the succulents!

Fellow walkers waiting for the course to be re-opened.

This is what got me to stop in my tracks...

Let me feet take a long refreshing break in a fountain at the finish and then was taken to Pam and team at the lunch site.

Shoring up feet as best as possible-you're awesome PAM!

What color are fire trucks? Pink ones are the BEST!

Note the cool license plate....pink ribbon tour.

Walkers writing tributes to loved ones.

If you squint you may be able to make out my inscription on the truck-I was holding on to the top of the truck with one hand and trying to take the picture with the other.

As a past Bethlehem Steel engineer I HAD to sit with the steel ribbon-quite a piece of art.
Singing our way through Scottsdale...yes, even 'Don't Stop Believin' by Journey..

An example of the many businesses in Scottsdale that supported the 3 Day.

You did it PAM!!
Team mates celebrate....
Well-deserved congratulations!
Don't these look comfortable? I wish I'd have thought of this!

The 3 Day walk can be gruesome...some walkers had to be wheeled in.

The 3 Day Walk isn't for the faint of heart or physically weak...battle weary, but finished.

Getting our instructions for Closing Ceremonies.

Herding the masses to line up.

The crew members are sincerely cheered as they make their way towards the stadium.

Walkers are welcomed into the stadium by friends and family.

More and more walkers file in...we're way up by the front.

A moment of triumphant recognition...

Paying tribute to the survivors...
